APICO is an organization that provides services to people with intellectual disabilities and their families. Their objectives are:

• Provide practical help tailored to the overall needs of people with intellectual disabilities and their families of origin, home or rehabilitation.
• To recognize the rights of people with intellectual disabilities as citizens in itself and to respect the rights of their family, home or rehabilitation to facilitate participation and inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities in community life.
• Initiate pilot projects aimed at social and community integration of the individual as well as its accession to independence.
